Tournament Location

  • Santa Monica (North of the Pier) California Septemenber 6-7 2008

Game Format & Length

  • 3 a side competition: No Goalie, 12 minute halves 5 minute halftime

Team size

  • 5 or 6 players max. on a Roster in ALL divisions: a min. of 3 females required (4 recommended) for Co-ed teams; two females must be on the field at all times during Co-ed games.

Field Sizes

  • Size varies by age group. Youth: 20x30 yards, Adults: 30x40 yards. Goals are 4 feet tall and 8 feet wide.

  • Boys & Girls U9-U19, high school, Women's and Men's Open, Adult Co-ed and over 30. Co-ed Adult teams
  • Min. 3 females required on Co-ed team roster. 2 females to be on the field at all times.

Level of Play

  • Recreational (Youth under 13 only)
  • Competitive ( u10 - Adult and Co-ed

Amount of Games

  • Each team will play 2 games on Saturday, with a minimum of 1-3 games on Sunday depending on performance.

Age Stipulations

  • Youth players to be of Appropriate Age at start of tournament. For Example: a U14 player MUST be UNDER the age of 14 BEFORE the start of the USSSC. No additions, substitutions or deletions may be made to your roster less than 2 hours before your first game.
Uniforms
  • Bring your own uniforms. Or one team will be supplied scrimmage vests by United States 3v3 Sand Soccer

Foot Gear

  • No shoes, cleats or shin guards of any kind are allowed. Players can play either bare feet or with socks. Additional wrapping tape is recommended (on your bare feet or on the outside on your socks) in order to better protect your feet (hot sand, etc.). No jewelry of any kind is allowed. This includes watches, earrings, etc. No players with casts, air-splints, or metal splints of any kind will be allowed to participate.

Prizes

  • 1st place teams: Tournament trophy and medals.
  • 2nd place teams: Tournament medals.
  • Men's Open: Cash Prize to Winner.

  • Youth: $300
  •  Adults: $400
